About the ProgramFleet Feet Sarasota, in association with NEW BALANCE, is once again offering "NO-BOUNDARIES™", a 12-week training program for beginners hoping to run or walk their first 5K race. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles. We meet every Wednesday at 6pm at the store. The program begins on July 14, 2010 and costs $75 which includes the training program, a technical running shirt, a New Balance jacket (for those who complete the program) and extra goodies along the way to make sure you finish strong.
The NO BOUNDARIES™ program will offer participants weekly training schedules, once-a-week group run/walk training sessions, guidance and advice from experienced coaches and information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment.

Join Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance to walk or run your first 5k. The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5k in less than three months. Along the way we'll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you'll have the camaraderie of others just like you.
